How to file

You will need to create an account or log into Business.CT.gov to file a form online or submit a paper filing online. Fees for online filing and submitting a paper filing online can be paid securely using Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or Amex.

The Certificate of Incorporation for domestic stock corporations includes the minimum franchise tax if authorizing up to 20,000.00 shares. Please see the franchise schedule if authorizing more than 20,000.00 shares in a certificate of incorporation or if amending a certificate of incorporation to increase the authorized shares. See CGS 33-618.
