This article provides information about mandatory sexual harassment prevention training provided by the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO).

  • Connecticut employers must provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees within the first six months of their employment.
  • Please direct employees to the online sexual harassment prevention training course provided by CHRO to get started: CHRO’s Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Course
  • Please note, certificates from CHRO are not required to prove an employee has completed the training. If an employer wants to keep track of compliance using their own methods, the employer may do so.
