Which businesses file annual reports?
These types of companies are required to file an annual report:
- Corporation (both stock and nonstock)
- Limited liability company (LLC)
- Limited liability partnership (LLP)
- Limited partnership (LP)
If you don’t file an annual report, the Secretary of State’s Office will dissolve your business. These are called administrative dissolutions. Recent ones are shown on the Administrative Dissolution Notices page.
If you have closed your business
You don’t need to file a “final annual report.” Instead, please dissolve your business and send the required data and information to the Department of Revenue Services.
