If your next Annual Report isn’t due soon, you might want to file an Amended Annual Report to update certain business details. It may be more cost-effective than submitting other filing types for those changes.
Consider filing an Amended Annual Report to:
- Update a registered business agent
- Update the addresses associated with the business or update information regarding the principals of the business
- Update other details that typically require a separate filing
Eligibility requirements
To file an amended Annual Report, the following conditions must be met:
- You already filed your Annual Report. You must have already filed an Annual Report within the year for your business. If your business is new, or if you have not yet filed an Annual Report, you are not eligible for an amendment.
- Your next Annual Report is NOT currently due, or due soon. If your Annual Report is due in the next 30 days, you can update your business details when you file it. This way you can avoid multiple fees and submissions.
