You can request a plain or certified copy of any business, UCC, trademark, or other document recorded with the Secretary of the State, Business Services Division.

A plain copy is an identical copy of what the filer recorded with the Secretary. Most records are available as PDFs for free on Business.CT.gov. Use the business records search, UCC search, or trademarks search to find your business record, which will include your Filing History.

If no digital copy is listed, you can log into your Business.CT.gov account and request a copy.

Request a certified copy

A certified copy includes a certification page from the Secretary certifying the record is a true and accurate copy of what was recorded. The Secretary does not require you to obtain a certified copy of any record recorded, but this is sometimes required by banks or during the closing process on a business transaction.
To request a certified copy, log into your Business.CT.gov account and request a certified copy.
The fees for copies are set by law and are $40 for a plain copy and $55 for a certified copy.
