You need an account on Business.CT.Gov to submit business filings online and perform many other functions as part of Connecticut's business community. Having an account ensures you're better connected to all the news and services we offer here at Business.CT.Gov. If you need to sign in or create an account on business.ct.gov please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to business.ct.gov
  2. Click on the “Sign in” link on the website upper right corner
  3. If you already have an account, please sign in with your credentials
  4. If you don’t have an account, please click on the “Sign up now” link

    i. Please provide your name, email, mobile number, preferred language, username, and password. Next, click on the “Sign up for a CT.gov account” button.

    ii. Verify the information entered, provide captcha, and click “Submit”. If you need to make any changes, click on the “Go back” link to navigate to the previous page.

    iii. You will be asked to provide the verification code sent to your email address/phone number. You can choose to skip this step by clicking “Skip”. Click “Resend verification code” to have the code resent to your email address/mobile phone number.
